one thing i have learned as a new parent: children are constantly changing. each week brings new sights, sounds and skills, and a month ago is practically ancient history.
it has been nearly two months now since i last wrote about how maggie and emmett were sleeping, and things in that area have definitely improved. bedtime is around 6:30pm- we can't seem to keep these kids up much later than that- but the real change has been with the middle of the night feeding. by three months old, the 2am meal had become the 4am meal, and for the past few weeks, it has been more like 5:30am when the babies wake up for the first time. and while 5:30am is technically morning, i sure am not ready to start my day that early, so we all go back to bed for another hour or more after that. i don't want to jinx it, but i think we've got all-night sleepers!
look for another sleep update once the kiddos are on my ideal schedule of 7 to 7...!
