mags and lauren get ready for a baththe one thing that i was looking forward to more than anything else this christmas was the visit with lauren. i was excited for her to spend some more time with emmett and magnolia, and for her to see how they are even more amazing than last time she saw them.
auntie lowen loves her baby niece and nephew to pieces, and that alone is such a pleasure to witness, but on top of that, lauren held, played with, changed and even bathed the babies. she gracefully accepted their spit up, and didn't take it personally when they were fussy with her. we all laughed when we discovered that she had accidentally put emmett's diaper on backwards. lauren might have been embarrassed, but it was really funny... even perfect aunties have uh-oh moments!
the visit was so much fun, but way too short. i guess that's how i always feel when lauren goes home. we love you el vee! now when are you coming to visit again...?
