today was the first official molar sighting! emmett's little drool issue has reached epic proportions, so we figured that a big tooth must be on its way, and today i finally had visual confirmation of that. i am guessing that maggie will have some more chompers soon, too.
and in other news....
just the other day i was hanging out with the kids and i rattled off a little rhyme from one of their books that just popped into my head, A told B, and B told C, "i'll meet you at the top of the coconut tree!" (for those of you that are well-versed in your toddler literature, you might recognize this excerpt from Chicka Chicka ABC).
emmett looked at me knowingly, smiled, ran into his room and started digging thorugh the basket of books. a moment later he returned triumphantly holding a copy of said book.
it was a proud mom-moment for me. wow! what a smart little guy!
love catching up on your blog. that is the coolest book story. some of the best parenting moments for me are around literature. i can imagine your beaming heart from emmett's connection!!!! :) what a cool moment.
