last night we got home from a five-day trip to colorado. we have many photos and stories from the trip that i will post soon, but just getting there is a story on its own! emmett and magnolia's 5th and 6th plane rides (and yes, each one is a true adventure, so we have to count each and every one!) were probably more enjoyable for them than for their parents, but everyone fared well and came through in good spirits.
i think we are getting pretty good at traveling as a family, and all of the strategy that is involved is beginning to be habit. i now know that i can push a double stroller that has two kids in it and one car seat balanced on top and pull a giant suitcase all at the same time! greg is officially the "baby whisperer" when it comes to getting active toddlers to take a nap on the fly. and for their part, emmett and magnolia really enjoy the sights and sounds of an airport and plane ride, so even when we are exhausted from wrestling two crazy little monkeys, e & m are happy and having fun!
