6 months old and wearing our cute hats

our friend leah made e & m these adorable hats last december, and we are so excited that they will fit again this winter!
yesterday we all got bundled up and went on a fun outing that included cupcakes for the entire family, some toy shopping at a cool local toy store, and then we checked out a playground that we hadn't been to before. the jungle gym at the park we went to had some attractions that were new to e & m: a bouncy bridge that emmett chose to run across while maggie cautiously walked and held the handrail, and a giant abacus that both kids were really into. fun!
